Memberships

More time on board always pays off. Each step up means a lower hourly rate, weekend benefits and more on board. Every cruise has a two-hour minimum; King's Day, Gay Pride and Sail fall outside the membership hours.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you want to know about the Business Club

The membership

What exactly is the Business Club?+

The Business Club gives your company a fixed place on the water. You book hours as you see fit through a personal booking environment, whenever it suits you. You step aboard, we take care of the rest.

Which memberships are there, and what do they cost?+

There are three tiers. The more hours, the lower the hourly rate and the more benefits included. All prices exclude VAT. The saving compared with one-off hire (€250 per hour) runs up to €5,000 a year with the Partner membership.

Business
€230per hour
min. 30 hours per year
from €6,900
Premium
€215per hour
min. 60 hours per year
from €12,900
Partner
€200per hour
min. 100 hours per year
from €20,000
How exclusive is the membership?+

Deliberately limited. Business is capped at 10 companies, Premium at 5 and Partner at just 2. That keeps the boat available whenever you need it.

When does the Business Club sail?+

The season runs from April through October. King's Day, Amsterdam Gay Pride and Sail Amsterdam fall outside the membership hours.

Booking & availability

How do I book a cruise?+

As a member you have access to a personal booking environment, where you easily schedule your cruises, manage your hours and pass on your wishes.

How far in advance can I book?+

Members have booking priority: 60 days with Business, 90 days with Premium and 180 days with Partner.

What is the minimum duration per cruise?+

Each cruise has a two-hour minimum. After that you can add hours one at a time.

Can I sail at weekends too?+

Yes. Business members book weekends separately at €200 per hour. With Premium and Partner, weekends are included in the hours.

Where do we board?+

The departure location is flexible and arranged per cruise, from the centre of Amsterdam.

Can hours be passed on to colleagues or relations?+

Yes. Hours are freely transferable, both within your organisation and to external relations. You decide who comes aboard.

What if I don't use all my hours?+

Up to a quarter of your annual hours can be carried over to the next season. Remaining hours expire at the end of October.

Cancellation

What are the cancellation terms?+

In bad weather (persistent rain, storms or KNMI code orange or red) the cruise is cancelled free of charge. No hours are deducted and we schedule a new date. For cancellations on other grounds, the following terms apply:

Cancellation
Hours deducted
More than 48 hours ahead
None
24 to 48 hours ahead
50%
Less than 24 hours ahead
100%

Catering & on board

Do you also provide the food and drinks?+

Yes. We arrange your catering wishes fully to measure, whether it's a classic Dutch sharing board or sushi, and from beers to champagnes.

How many people fit on board?+

Our boat offers space for a maximum of 30 people as standard. For special occasions, an extension to a maximum of 52 people is possible.

Invoicing

How is the membership invoiced?+

The minimum annual amount is invoiced in advance. Catering and additional hours are billed afterwards. You receive invoices with a VAT breakdown and an annual overview.
